This story begins with a Brazilian family with Portuguese and Italian roots, who lived in the second largest city in the world that consumes the most pizza. And guess which one? If you said São Paulo (Brazil), you're right!

When they arrived in Portugal, the family, accustomed to eating these Italian delicacies, missed that pizza with crispy dough and baked in a wood-fired oven. After all, it reminded them of the good times they had eaten pizza together at home every week, which was already a tradition. The passion for this delicacy led the eldest son to become a pizza chef, but there was one thing missing: a wood-fired oven.

And that's how they decided to open the Famiglia Lamana pizzeria. Always united, they conceived the idea of ​​the restaurant, divided the tasks and literally got their hands dirty. And it worked out!

They combined their eldest son's experience as a pizza chef, their architect mother's perfectionism, their engineer father's meticulous eye and their youngest son's friendliness and taste for customer service, all with extra doses of love and dedication.
